- Food creator Seonma Shin had a Korean family recipe and one condition: it had to be Halal.

MOQ is low and confirmed per product and pack format, so start-ups and single outlets can work with us as well as chains.
Can Kantan manufacture cooking pastes under my own brand?
Yes. Choose a proven recipe or bring your own, and we handle production and packaging, with label design support.
Can Kantan develop a custom cooking paste recipe?
Yes. We develop, test and adjust it with you until the sample tastes right. The recipe stays yours and is kept confidential.
Is Kantan Food's OEM manufacturing Halal certified?
Yes. They are made in our JAKIM Halal, MeSTI, HACCP and GMP certified kitchen in Subang Jaya.
What packaging formats and shelf life can Kantan offer?
Our standard is a 1 kg retort pouch, 10 per carton, with up to 16 months shelf life at room temperature. 120–200 g retail packs and custom sizes are available on request.

Yes. We supply Malaysia nationwide and ship export-ready cartons to overseas distributors and your forwarder.
